In Ryngach, OCU asset falsifies documents in order to seize a temple - rector

The rector of the Holy Ascension Church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the village of Ryngach, Chernivtsi region, Father Seraphim, spoke about another attempt by the OCU activists to seize the church through court. Now the OCU is forging documents, the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna diocese of the UOC reports on Facebook.
The Economic Court of the Chernivtsi Region has already refused to consider the claim of the OCU on the ownership of the temple in Ryngach. Now activists of the schismatics have filed a new lawsuit with the Novoselytsky District Court, demanding that the UOC community’s ownership of the church in Ryngach be canceled.
The documents submitted to the court include the names of people who have already died, who allegedly support the transfer of the community to the OCU. “This time they submitted lists to the Novoselytsky District Court, in which many, as of today, have died and were buried in our Orthodox church. And during their lifetime, none of them had the desire to move to the OCU, ”said Father Seraphim.
Earlier in Ryngach, representatives of the OCU fraudulently collected signatures in support of the transition to a split. Subsequently, many villagers withdrew their signatures.
