The head of the Ministry of Culture demanded that the World Council of Churches suspend the membership of the Russian Orthodox Church

Minister of Culture and Information Policy Oleksandr Tkachenko met with the head of the World Council of Churches (WCC) Ioan Saucu and his deputy Odairo Pedroso Mateus in Kyiv, Ukrinform reports.

Tkachenko noted that «the suspension of the membership of the Russian Orthodox Church in the WCC until the complete withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine could be just such a signal.»
