Volyn deputy demands to ban UOC priests from participating in official events

Representatives of the clergy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church should not participate in official events held by the regional military administration and district military-civil administrations. Deputy Andrei Bokoch addressed the chairman of the Volyn OVA Yuriy Pogulyaiko with such a request on November 3 during the session of the regional council, Volynskiye Novosti writes.

Representatives of the clergy of the MP regularly and massively cooperate with the enemy, openly or covertly take an anti-Ukrainian, anti-state position. It is indicative that the SBU found 33 Russian agents among the clergy of the UOC-MP.

Despite this situation, a large number of MP parishes continue to function in Volyn, and their clergy actively participate in events organized by individual executive authorities,” the deputy said.
