Bishop Nikita's attacker turned out to be a systematic offender

Gorban Yaroslav, who attacked the Bishop of Ivano-Frankivsk and Kolomyia Nikita, turned out to be a person who systematically commits offenses. According to the Open Register of Court Decisions, more than 20 different court cases were opened against him, and on the day of the violence, April 10, 2023, the Zastavnovsky District Court heard another of them. This was reported in the Chernivtsi-Bukovina diocese, reports the Information and Educational Department of the UOC.
«The anti-church media are actively laundering the identity of Gorban Yaroslav, who yesterday beat Bishop Nikita and attacked the son of a soldier of the Military Forces of Ukraine. They mold the offender into a hero-fighter with the clergy. In the video, Mr. Gorban, already in the presence of police officers, once again tried to commit violence» , — they note in the diocesan press service and add that this person is a person who «systematically commits offenses.»
It is noted that according to the data of the Open Register of Court Decisions, more than 20 different court cases have been initiated against him.
In particular, on April 10, according to the court decision, citizen Gorban Ya.S. did not have the right to drive a vehicle, because he was deprived of his license for a period of 10 years due to the fact that he was driving while intoxicated for the second time within a year.
