Breaking the agreement with the Pochaev Lavra is a difficult process, deputy

During the Easter telethon, people’s deputy Yevgenia Kravchuk said that the process of terminating the contract with the Pochaev Lavra is more difficult than in the case of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, Pervy Kozatsky reports.

“This agreement was signed in 2003, it has a term expiring in 50 years, and the only actual moment that gives us the opportunity to break it ahead of schedule is, in fact, the verification of the use of the Pochaev Lavra,” the deputy noted.

Yevgenia Kravchuk also stressed that “the same commission that dealt with the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra will be engaged in the verification.”
