Representatives of the OCU did not let the UN monitoring mission into the UOC Cathedral in Khmelnitsky

On May 2, representatives of the parish of the captured Intercession Cathedral of the UOC in Khmelnitsky met with the UN monitoring mission. This was reported by the Telegram channel «Pershyi Kozatskyi».

The local publication vsim.ua notes that three UN employees and representatives of the religious community, as part of their joint work, wanted to get into the captured shrine, but representatives of the OCU did not let them in.

«The Orthodox Cathedral on Volodymyrska Street in the center of Khmelnitsky was visited by representatives of the United Nations. Three employees of the monitoring mission for human rights met with representatives of the UOC, which once used the temple. Neither one nor the other entered the territory of the temple, since it was guarded and no one were not allowed in. The police were also at the meeting place,» the publication says.
