Church of the UOC burned down in the Chernihiv deanery

On the night of August 20-21, 2023, the Holy Trinity Church in the Chernihiv deanery burned down as a result of arson, the website of the Chernihiv diocese reports.

The fire destroyed the bell tower, burned down four modern bells, recently purchased at the expense of the community, and an old pre-revolutionary bell.
