Activists demand that the SSU pay attention to icons of "Russian saints" in the UOC monastery

Activists have published a photo from the Holy Trinity Motroninsky nunnery in the Cherkasy diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which shows the walls of the church with icons of St. Blessed Xenia of St. Petersburg and Matrona of Moscow, and demand that they be removed. About it writes RBC-Ukraine with reference to the publication of the Telegram channel «Decolonization. Ukraine».

«The famous Troitsky Motroninsky nunnery, which is located in the relic Motronin forest, in the landmark for Ukrainians Kholodny Yar, is still in the use of the UOC (MP). Moreover, icons in honor of Russian saints are still ‘painted’ in it», — the publication says.

The activists also appealed to representatives of the SBU with a demand to pay attention to this.

«How long will the Muscovites sit in a sacred place for Ukrainians?», — is said in the publication.
