MP Dmytruk said about pressure and an attempt to kidnap his family because of his position on the ban of the UOC

Ukrainian MP Artem Dmytruk has said that the Ukrainian government initiated his persecution by opening a criminal case against him. Dmytruk added that his family had been kidnapped from a hotel in a European country. The MP connects what is happening with his critical position on the ban of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. About it he reported in his Telegram-channel.
“The office of the Prosecutor General informed me of suspicion because of “attacks on a law enforcement officer and a military officer.” Actually, nothing new. The authorities continue their hunt for those who disagree with the regime. And yes, by the way, no one handed me any suspicion. And all these cases — absolutely falsified and made-up story,” — Dmytruk wrote on August 25.
Later, the MP said that there was an attempt to kidnap his family from the hotel room. The loved ones managed to fight off and now they are safe.
“My family tried to kidnap! My mother, wife and two small children yesterday tried to steal from a hotel room in Europe. After the first unsuccessful attempt and the measures we took, they tried again at the airport! Thank God, kind people helped us, they connected a security company, which worked perfectly! A statement was written to the law enforcement agencies, after which the local police immediately conducted an on-site investigation of the persons we mentioned. All of them, their cars were identified. The facts of following my family at the hotel, on the way to the airport and at the airport itself were also established! Today I know who was doing it and what goals were pursued. I will tell you about it later!”, — said Dmitruk.
It should be noted that Artyom Dmytruk is one of the few MPs who consistently advocates in defense of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and voted against its ban. We published the list of deputies who voted in favor of Law No. 8371 on our website.
