Kiev City Council urged believers to refuse to visit churches on Easter night

The Kiev city council has urged residents of the capital to refuse to visit churches on Easter night on April 20. The KSCA said that since martial law continues in the country, citizens must adhere to the curfew, which lasts from 00:00 to 05:00. About it reports the press service of the KSCA.
«This is the fourth Easter, which we celebrate under martial law. Therefore, we urge citizens to give preference to online broadcasts of worship services and remember the curfew, which operates from 00:00 to 05:00. There are no plans to change the curfew time in the capital. We continue to live in conditions of full-scale war. And the most important value is human life. So be conscious, take into account the recommendations of the military, avoid large crowds of people and take care of each other!», — emphasized Deputy Head of KSCA Mykola Povoroznik.
We will remind, earlier we reported that Khmelnitsky regional administration banned mass religious events from August 16 to 25, 2024. The corresponding order of Khmelnitsky Regional State Administration was publicized on the official pages in social networks of communities in the region. It is characteristic that the relevant order was issued just before the traditional annual procession from Kamyanets-Podilskyi to Pochaev, timed to coincide with the feast of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which is the feast day of the Holy Dormition of Pochaev Lavra.
