Head of Volyn Regional Military Administration announces that the curfew will not be changed for Easter

During a meeting with the heads of religious denominations in the region, the Head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration, Ivan Rudnytsky, discussed important security issues for Easter. However, the main topic of the meeting was the curfew on Easter night, which, according to Rudnytsky, will remain unchanged. This information was reported by “Volyn News”.

“The curfew on Easter night will not be changed and will last as usual: from 00:00 to 05:00,” emphasized the official, adding that this rule will apply despite the holiday night.

Rudnytsky also noted that, despite the war situation, the people of Volyn have experience celebrating Easter in wartime conditions.

“This year, as in previous years, all those willing will be able to participate in festive religious activities, while remaining vigilant and following all safety requirements,” added Rudnytsky.

Earlier, we reported that Ukrainian mass media were publishing schedules for the broadcast of Easter religious events. Among the denominations that will be given airtime on Easter are the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU), the UGCC, and even Roman Catholics. Meanwhile, it seems that the Easter services of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church will not be broadcast.
