TRC Officers Kidnapped Two Clergymen of the UOC in Bukovina

Officers of the Territorial Recruitment Center illegally detained two clergymen of the Chernivtsi-Bukovina Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. These are priest Fedir Hnitytsky and deacon Ivan Dmytruk. This was reported by the Facebook page «Faithful of the Chernivtsi-Bukovina Diocese of the UOC.»

“TRC officers took two clerics of the Chernivtsi-Bukovina Diocese of the UOC: priest Fedir Hnitytsky and deacon Ivan Dmytruk. For several days now, the clerics have been transported around Ukraine. We ask everyone to intensify their prayers for them,” the post authors wrote.

It is also worth recalling that in Kharkiv, TRC officers tried to illegally mobilize two clergymen of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church — Father Serhiy Kyt and his brother Father Vitaliy. According to the community of the Holy Martyr Alexander of Kharkiv Church, the brothers were deceitfully summoned for questioning at the SSU, and upon leaving the building, were illegally detained despite having valid deferments from service.
