Another priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church was forcibly mobilized in the Rivne region

On September 2, 2025, employees of the territorial recruitment center forcibly mobilized a clergyman of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This time, the victim of the TRC was Archpriest Alexander Soltis, a cleric of the Rivne Diocese of the UOC. This was reported by the publication Rivne Vechirnie.

«At first, he underwent a medical examination in the Kostopol district, where he was found to be ‘limitedly fit’ due to heart problems. But later he came to the attention of the Varash Territorial Recruitment Center. He spent a week at the Rivne training ground, and on September 7, he called his wife to say that he had been transferred to the Kirovograd region,» — journalist Valentina Ilyina reported on Facebook.

Tetyana Kamerystova, press secretary of the Rivne Regional Territorial Recruitment Center, confirmed this information. The clergyman was mobilized on September 2: “According to available information, this citizen, who had no grounds for deferment from mobilization, was taken to the 233rd training center.”
