The head of the "group of signatories" came under the jurisdiction of the Patriarchate of Constantinople in Norway

A former cleric of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Andriy Pinchuk, has officially joined the Patriarchate of Constantinople and started serving in the Scandinavian Metropolis as a “voluntary clergyman”. The clergyman was appointed rector of the Ukrainian-speaking parish in Norway. About it he reported on his page in the social network Facebook.
Pinchuk announced his decision on April 19, 2026, noting that the transition was the result of a “long journey”. He expressed his gratitude to Patriarch Bartholomew and Metropolitan Cleopas of Scandinavia for the opportunity to continue his activities in the bosom of the “Mother Church”. In an official statement, the Scandinavian Metropolis confirmed the cleric’s reception, describing the decision as an example of “selfless love of neighbor” and an important step to strengthen the missionary ministry in the region. Now the priest will head the parish of St. Olaf in the province of Telemark and provide spiritual care for the faithful throughout the Kingdom of Norway.
We will remind, earlier we reported that the odious cleric of the Dnepropetrovsk diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, previously under a ban in the priesthood, Archpriest Andrew Pinchuk enlisted for staff. Before that, on May 17, 2023, Metropolitan Iriney of Dnipropetrovsk and Pavlograd banned Anrdey Pinchuk from the priesthood for his scandalous activities and boorish attacks on the episcopate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
