Archbishop Artemiy of the Belarusian Church has been sent to rest for the reason of health

On June 9, 2021, at a meeting of the Holy Synod of the ROC, the report of the Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus Veniamin was discussed. It was about the decision taken at the meeting of the Synod of the Belarusian Exarchate on June 8, 2021 about to petition the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill and the Holy Synod for the enrollment of His Eminence Archbishop Artemiy of Grodno and Volkovysk for health reasons. Also it was on the appointment to the Grodno diocese of His Eminence Bishop Anthony of Slutsk and Soligorsk with dismissal from the administration of the Slutsk diocese. The Synod of the ROC enlisted Archbishop Artemiy of Grodno and Volkovysk to rest on health reasons at the request of the Synod of the Belarusian Exarchate, determining the city of Minsk as the location of His Eminence Archbishop Artemiy.

Bishop Anthony of Slutsk and Soligorsk was appointed His Eminence of Grodno and Volkovysk, releasing him from the administration of the Slutsk Diocese.

The temporary administration of the Slutsk diocese is entrusted to His Eminence Metropolitan Benjamin of Minsk and Zaslavl, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus.
