For 5 months, almost 90 communities of the UOC in the Khmelnytsky region were “re-registered” in the OCU

The charters of 25 religious communities of three dioceses of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the Khmelnitsky region were «re-registered» into the schismatic Orthodox Church of Ukraine in July 2022, Pravlife writes.

Orders on registration of charters of religious communities in the new version were signed by the head of the Khmelnitsky regional military administration, Sergei Gamaly.

According to the official website of the Khmelnytsky OVA, 3 communities of the Kamyanets-Podilsky diocese of the UOC, 4 communities of the Shepetivka diocese of the UOC and 18 communities of the Khmelnitsky diocese of the UOC made the transition to the OCU in a month.

In June there were 36 such «transitions», in May — 19, in April — 3, in March — 4.

In just 5 months from the start of hostilities on the territory of Ukraine, 87 communities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church were re-registered in the OCU in Khmelnitsky OVA.

For 35 communities (including the Pokrovsky Cathedral in Khmelnytsky), charters were registered without indicating jurisdictional affiliation.
