God is leaving the temple that the persecutors are capturing - Metropolitan Feodosiy

In his video address to the congregation, Metropolitan Feodosiy of Cherkasy and Kanev stated that the churches selected from the UOC communities become graceless, and the Lord is present where people who remain faithful to the Church pray.

“God still remains with his suffering children,” the bishop noted. – He leaves the temple, which is captured by the persecutors. God leaves and leaves such a temple empty, graceless, cold. As it is cold in an abandoned house with broken windows in a 30-degree frost, so it is in a temple from which God and His grace have departed. And this can be felt by anyone whose heart has not yet been completely broken by hatred.”

The bishop said that “God goes together with a priest faithful to Him and with his congregation to where they go – to apartments, to private houses, to basements – and begins to act there with even greater power of His grace.”

“He begins to act where the holy Antimins unfolds again and the real canonical Divine Liturgy is performed. And then a private house, apartment, hangar or attic turns into a magnificent, spacious and bright cathedral, in which the soul soars upward, in which the Christian heart rejoices and rejoices in a way that it did not rejoice and rejoice until then in a typical temple, built even with one’s own hands . In this magnificent cathedral, in which the persecuted priest and the congregation pray, God is especially close, He hears every prayer, He fulfills every request,” Metropolitan Feodosiy emphasized.
