The police cordoned off the convent of the Ternopil diocese of the UOC

On the morning of September 4, 2023, the police cordoned off the Holy Epiphany Convent of the UOC in the Ternopil region in order to further close and evict the nuns. Representatives of law enforcement agencies are awaiting further instructions from the authorities and let people into the territory of the monastery only upon presentation of a passport. This is reported by the channel Monastyrsky Bulletin of Ukraine.

It is known that the monastery has been using the complex of buildings for the last 32 years and has also done everything possible to continue to use state property legally.
