“Agentship with warehouses of weapons": MP urged to vote for the ban of the UOC

An MP of the Ukrainian parliamentary faction Golos, Roman Lozynskyy, has called for an immediate ban on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The parliamentarian claims that without the adoption of the relevant law, any victories of the Ukrainian army on the battlefield will be meaningless. About this he told in a commentary to the “24 channel”.
“The Russian Orthodox Church is not a church, but a network of the FSB, Russian propaganda, agency with warehouses of weapons. Our country must cleanse itself from the inside from everything Russian. Now the key victory is on the battlefield, but the worst is if all our victories and losses are in vain. We need to clench our teeth and make decisions on which our future directly depends. One of them is to purge the Russian Orthodox Church as an agent of the FSB,” – Lozinsky said.
Lozinsky added that in Parliament still can not ban the UOC because of the “mono-majority” and deputies from “banned” parties.
“This list can go on. We can talk about deputies of local councils, who were elected from parties, which later banned by the court. There is a bill lying in Parliament that would cleanse local councils of traitors, but for the fourth year it is being sabotaged by the mono-majority. The same situation regarding the ban on the Russian Orthodox Church,” – the MP said.
Note, earlier we reported that the former Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Commissioner for human rights (2012-2018), honored lawyer of Ukraine Valeria Lutkovska shared her opinion on what threatens the state in case of adoption of the bill № 8371, aimed at banning the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The former ombudsman believes that if the law is passed, it will complicate the process of Ukraine’s accession to the European Union.
