Provocative stunt during Easter basket blessing near UOC church in Kryukiv

In the city of Kryukiv, during the blessing of Easter baskets near a church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, a provocative action titled «Easter Breads on Blood» took place. Two servicemen staged a so-called «informational flash mob» by standing behind the faithful with a board. This was reported by Kremenchuk Gazette.

On the board were photos of missiles and provocative photo collages featuring UOC hierarchs. A video from the scene was filmed by local activist Oleksandr Topko, who commented:
«The guys decided to hold an informational flash mob to explain that the same holy water used to bless the Easter breads of the Moscow Patriarchate is also used to bless these missiles, which later fall on their own heads — but they still don’t understand that.»

At the end of the video, Topko added:
«Their God doesn’t give them consciousness.»

All this happened in the presence of police officers, who did not interfere in the incident.

Earlier, we reported that on April 8 in the village of Verkhni Stanyvtsi in the Chernivtsi region, during another conflict over an attempted seizure of a Ukrainian Orthodox Church temple, a journalist from Kolomyia, Diana Lavryk, claimed she was allegedly attacked by believers. According to her, she had arrived at the St. Nicholas Church at the invitation of OCU activists to «cover» the first service following the seizure.
