Earlier we reported that the Ternopil City Council transferred to the religious community of the OCU a land plot (at Ternopil, Konovaltsia Street, 1), where the Cathedral and the diocesan administration of the Ternopil Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church are located. This decision was made by the city council despite the fact that the Supreme Court of Ukraine seized the land, prohibiting the city council from disposing of the property in any way. Now the OCU community, which was given the land under the UOC Cathedral, is going to build a chapel there.
The head of the OCU awarded the mayor of Ternopil with an order

The head of the OCU, Epiphanius Dumenko, awarded the mayor of Ternopil, Serhiy Nadal, with the Order of Archangel Michael II. As the awardee himself stated, the order is a special distinction for the entire community of Ternopil to “more actively strengthen and develop the OCU.” This was reported by the press service of the Ternopil City Council.
“In these difficult times for Ukraine, it is extremely important to unite the efforts of all residents and authorities to strengthen and develop the Orthodox Church of Ukraine,” — Nadal emphasized.
