Members of the AUCCRO held a meeting with the heads of Ukrainian diplomatic missions

Members of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations, from which the Ukrainian Orthodox Church was unofficially excluded, held a meeting with the heads of diplomatic missions and representative offices of Ukraine. During the event, which was jointly supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations, the “spiritual care” of Ukrainian refugees abroad was discussed. This was reported by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sibiga, on his X account.
“During the conference of Ukrainian ambassadors, we held an important meeting with Ukrainian religious leaders. For the first time, the heads of Ukrainian diplomatic missions abroad met with representatives of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations. We discussed issues of support for believers abroad, freedom of religion, and joint efforts in the field of international educational activities,” – Sibiga wrote.
On July 23, 2025, the head of the OCU, Epiphanius Dumenko, met with the Ukrainian ambassador to Romania, Igor Prokopchuk. During the meeting, the parties discussed the influence of the Moscow Patriarchate on the development of the Romanian Orthodox Church in Moldova, as well as the recognition of the OCU by the Church of Bucharest.
