The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergey Lavrov, has spoken about US President Donald Trump’s reaction to the information that the Ukrainian Orthodox Church is banned in Ukraine. According to Lavrov, Trump was amazed by what he heard. Lavrov said in an interview with the media.
“At the talks in Alaska, we mentioned that, among other things, the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church is banned. And President Trump was astonished and he asked Mark Rubio several times whether it was true. And it was visible his attitude to this kind of things,” – said Lavrov.
