The head of the Phanar called "propagandistic", the media writing against the Patriarchate of Constantinople

Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople criticized the activities of media outlets that describe the church situation in the world differently from the position of the Phanar, calling them «Stalinist propaganda» and stressing his fearlessness in the face of them. According to him, it is Russia that should fear Judgment Day, where, among other things, it will have to answer «for the war in Ukraine and for attempts to split the unity of Orthodoxy by using ‘Stalinist propaganda tactics’ to control and manipulate Orthodox nations.» Orthodoxtimes.com reported.
«I am not afraid of them, nor of their false and fabricated information, nor of dirty attacks organized by various agencies, nor of slander directed against our Patriarchate and my person, nor of Russian Internet trolls, nor of their websites-rumors,» the head of the Phanar said in an interview with the newspaper «Ta Nea Savvatokyriako».
Recall, the hierarch of the Patriarchate of Constantinople Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon made comments on the recent statement of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) regarding Patriarch Bartholomew. According to him, the Patriarchate of Constantinople has never closed the door to dialog, especially with regard to the Ukrainian church issue.
