In Dnipropetrovsk region, the St. Nicholas Church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Boguslav was on fire

On the night of January 26, 2026, in the village of Boguslav, Pavlogradsky district, Dnipropetrovsk region, a large fire broke out in the St. Nicholas Church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC). The fire, which covered about 300 square meters, significantly damaged the wooden structures of the building. There are no casualties or injuries as a result of the incident.
According to the Dnipropetrovsk diocese of the UOC, the fire in St. Nicholas Church started around midnight. According to the Main Department of the State Emergency Situations Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region, the fire quickly spread to the roof and premises of the temple.
24 employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and seven units of special equipment worked at the scene and managed to localize and extinguish the flames. Despite the lack of casualties, the wooden structures of the church were seriously damaged. The rector of the parish, Archpriest Sergei Echkenko, has already announced the beginning of fundraising for the restoration of the church.
Recall that on the night of January 23-24, 2026 in the village of Zarechnoye (Gvardeyskoye), Samara district, Dnipropetrovsk region, there was a large-scale fire, as a result of which the church of St. Seraphim of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church completely burned down.
