The Anglican Church has called for a nationwide condemnation of anti-Semitism in the UK

Anglican «Archbishopess» Sarah Mullally made a strong appeal to British society to openly condemn any manifestations of anti-Semitism and expressed support for the Jewish community amid a sharp rise in hate crimes. According to Christian Today, Mullally emphasized the need to consolidate the efforts of all members of society to counter radicalism.
During her visit to the Finchley district, Sarah Mullally visited religious schools and charity centers. According to her, the activity of the Jewish community in the spheres of health care and education embodies the best values of Great Britain and enriches the country. She emphasized that the problem of anti-Semitism should not fall on the shoulders of just one group: «It affects us all — every member of our society.» The Archbishopess urged fellow citizens to stand up to discrimination «without hesitation or reservation».
The hierarch’s visit comes after a string of high-profile crimes, including murders at a Manchester synagogue, assaults with edged weapons in Golders Green and deliberate arson attacks on Jewish Voluntary Ambulance Service vehicles. Rabbis Josh and Charlie, who hosted the visit, called the visit «a powerful act of caring» and expressed hope that the gesture would be an example of respectful coexistence between different faiths at a time when outside forces are trying to deepen divisions in society.
It is worth noting that the efforts of the Anglican Church to protect social harmony are supported at the highest state level. Earlier, the British King officially agreed to take under the guardianship of the organization for the protection of the Jewish population, which confirms the desire of traditional institutions of Britain to preserve interreligious dialogue and protect law and order.
We shall remind you that earlier we reported that Vladimir Zelensky signed a bill criminalizing anti-Semitism in the country.
