The Primate of the Macedonian Orthodox Church congratulated Metropolitan Onuphrius on his name day

The Primate of the Macedonian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Archbishop Stefan, sent an official message of congratulations to His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry of Kyiv and All Ukraine on the occasion of his name day. On behalf of the episcopate, the clergy, and all the faithful of Macedonia, the head of the Church expressed words of support and spiritual unity with the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

According to the Information and Education Department of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, in his message Archbishop Stefan particularly noted Metropolitan Onufry’s spiritual fortitude. The head of the Macedonian Church emphasized that the Ukrainian primate, following in the footsteps of the holy fathers, demonstrates exceptional wisdom and humility in his archpastoral ministry, serving as an example to the faithful.

In closing his congratulatory message, Archbishop Stefan wished His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry God’s help, good health, and a long life. The Primate of the Macedonian Church expressed his hope that the Lord would continue to strengthen the metropolitan under the protection of the Most Holy Theotokos and all the saints of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, granting him the strength to continue shepherding his flock.
