Epiphany "fell ill" to avoid meeting with Poroshenko, - the Ukrainian politician

The head of the OCU «Metropolitan» Epiphany, who suddenly discovered that he had a coronavirus, was forbidden from the President`s Office to go to a meeting with Petro Poroshenko. This was stated on his Facebook page by the head of the Odessa regional organization of the nationalistic party «Svoboda», ex-MP Pavlo Kyrylenko.

“Petro Poroshenko demanded that the primate of the OCU, Metropolitan Epiphany, personally meet him at the Zhuliany airport on January 17.

In turn, the head of the President`s Office, Andriy Yermak, directly conveyed to Metropolitan Epiphany that his participation in the Poroshenko meeting would lead to a complete freeze in relations between the Office and the OCU.

So Metropolitan Epiphany had to fall ill with COVID-19… and Poroshenko didn’t seem to refuse, and he didn’t quarrel with the Office… pure Byzantine,” writes Pavlo Kyrylenko.
