Information about the transition to the OCU community of the Rivne diocese of the UOC in the village of Novy Korets was refuted

The religious community of the temple in the name of the St. Paraskeva Pyatnitsa of the village of Novy Korets of the Rivne district of the Rivne region remains a faithful Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This was reported in the Rivne diocese of the UOC on February 21, 2023, in response to the publication of an allegedly adopted decision to join the schismatic “Orthodox Church of Ukraine”, writes Pravlaif.
Information about the change in the jurisdiction of the religious community of the village of Novy Korets appeared after the meeting of local residents, held on February 19 in a rural club. According to the organizers, all 183 participants in the fees voted for the transition to the OCU.
“The religious community of the UOC decided unanimously not to go to this meeting, because opponents violated all the agreements. On Sunday, February 12, after the meeting of the religious community, they admitted that the transition did not take place, the organizers even shook their hand to the dean, recognizing the legal owners of the church of believers of the UOC. Moreover, they promised the next day to sign the minutes of the meeting, but they abandoned all their words. That’s all you need to know about the people who are going to go to God, and at that time they are deceiving their neighbors, ”commented the head of the legal department of the Rivne diocese of the UOC, Archpriest Vasily Nachev.
“The transition did not occur, I want to once again emphasize for all believers who are experiencing for the fate of the co -religionists. The religious community of the St. Paraskeva Pyatnitsa Church of the Novy Korets did not pass anywhere, it remained true to its Primate to the Beatitude of Onufry, ”added Archpriest Andrei Dyachek, the deacon of the Korets Church District.
Proponents of OCU consider the vote to “restore historical justice” and are now waiting for the official registration of documents.
The community of the St. Paraskeva Pyatnitsa temple of the UOC asks for prayers.
