As reported, Patriarch Theodore of Alexandria continues to criticize the Russian Orthodox Church because of the activities of the Moscow Patriarchate on the African continent. The first hierarch, who had previously recognized the OCU contrary to the canons, said that the Russian Church, “through the invasion of Africa,” had neglected the principles of church law.
African Exarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church provides water to settlements in Cameroon

On the basis of the established parishes in Cameroon, the African Exarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church is implementing the most important initiative for the region – unimpeded access to drinking water. The drilling of wells and installation of special equipment is funded by donors of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa. This is reported on the website of the Exarchate.
It is reported that it was possible to drill wells and equip places for obtaining water in the Far North region of Cameroon with the help of donors of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa, which organized fundraising and then coordinated the work.
Thanks to this, drinking water is already available in the parishes of St. Nectarius of Aegina in the village of Gadissou, St. Macarius in the village of Dikdim and St. Alexius in the village of Gangalang. Work is also underway to drill and equip wells in the parishes of St. Panteleimon in Kurbi and St. George in Tungui. In addition, work will soon begin on the creation of wells in the parishes of St. Cyril in Javar and St. Demetrius in Mulvudaya.
