In Cherkasy, OCU chaplain hints at seizure of last two UOC churches in city

The odious chaplain of the OCU from Cherkasy, Vladimir Ridny, complained in the local media that the Ukrainian Orthodox Church still owns two churches in the city. Ridnyi claims that the communities of these churches have already «moved to the OCU,» so it is only a matter of time before these churches will come under the control of the Ukrainian schism.
According to 18000, citing Ridny, the churches on Sumgaitskaya Street and in the Dakhnovka neighborhood have not yet been seized by the OCU supporters. «All the communities have already expressed their will and moved to the OCU. There are two churches that are still under the occupation of the Russian church. The Moscow church is still illegally conducting its affairs there,» the chaplain said.
As reported, we recently reported that in the city of Cherkasy, the Transfiguration Church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the Dakhnovka neighborhood was re-registered under the jurisdiction of the OCU. According to available information, this happened on October 8 without a meeting of the religious community, which led to accusations of raider seizure of the shrine.
