Ukraine has re-banned Raskolam.net and other church media outlets advocating the defense of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church

On September 12, 2024, the State Service for Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine published an order according to which the information website Raskolam.net and other Internet media supporting the Ukrainian Orthodox Church were repeatedly blocked on the territory of Ukraine. The decision was made in response to an appeal by the Security Service of Ukraine and will be in effect until the end of martial law in the country. The document is published on the institution’s website.
“In accordance with the … appeal of the Security Service of Ukraine to providers of electronic communication services to perform access restriction (block the site) on their own recursive DNS-servers in respect of domain names: raskolam.net/en/; dialogtut.org/; spzh.live/en/; spzh.live/ua/. This order is valid until martial law in Ukraine is stopped or canceled,” — the order said.
We shall remind you that in February 2024, the editorial office of Raskolam.net began to receive reports that the site stopped opening on the territory of Ukraine. As a result of a check it turned out that Ukrainian Internet providers block the domain name Raskolam.net, thus limiting the access of users to our Internet resource. Later, the British publication Express published an article with information about persecution and the upcoming ban of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The journalists drew attention to the blocking of Ukrainian church media covering the topic of state-church relations in Ukraine.
