Earlier, Mykola Kniazhytskyi, a member of the Ukrainian parliament from the European Solidarity party, confirmed that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the scandalous anti-church law No. 3894, aimed at banning the activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which was adopted, among other things, in order to take away churches from the UOC. Knyazhytsky believes that since not all settlements in Ukraine have churches of the OCU, people may not realize that their “priests have ties to Moscow.” Thus, the law banning the UOC is aimed at correcting this.
OCU registers clones of UOC monasteries to make it easier to seize property, - DESS expert

OCU lobbyist and freelance expert of the State Service of Ukraine for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience (DESS) Andrey Smirnov said that the OCU is registering legal “clones” of monasteries of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to make it easier for the state to transfer the property of the UOC to the OCU. Smirnov believes that the state has the full right to dispose of the property of monasteries as it pleases, and the OCU should always be ready to accept monasteries or churches taken from the UOC. He spoke about this on the Viche YouTube channel.
“Why are parallel legal entities created? I think the answer lies on the surface. In order that if the state decides to transfer these monastery complexes to the OCU, it will be ready to use them. Just as it happened in the Kyiv Cave Monastery. If a legal entity had not been created, then even temporary use, lease, and transfer of the Assumption Cathedral would have been complicated,” — Smirnov said.
