Hungary condemned the missile strike that damaged the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra

Hungary has responded to the Russian strike on Kyiv, which reportedly resulted in civilian casualties and damage to facilities at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, including the Cathedral of the Dormition. Budapest emphasized that attacks on civilian infrastructure and religious sites are unacceptable.
According to“European Truth,”Hungarian Foreign Minister Anita Orbán published a statement on the matter on social media platform X. She noted that the Russian strikes have resulted in deaths and injuries among local residents.
Orbán also highlighted the significant damage inflicted on the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and the Cathedral of the Dormition located on its grounds. According to her, the Lavra is one of the holiest sites in Orthodox Christianity.
“Any attacks on civilian infrastructure, and especially on religious sites, are unacceptable,” emphasized the representative of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry.
