As reported, recently the head of the international human rights company Amsterdam & Partners LLP, Robert Amsterdam, who represents the legal interests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, announced his readiness to take legal action if the Ukrainian government continues to put pressure on the UOC.
"Non-transparent and subjective mechanisms": Mazurash MP opposes ban on UOC

Georgiy Mazurashu, MP from the Servant of the People party, has once again criticized the anti-church law No. 3894, which aims to ban the activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The deputy is convinced that the responsibility for violating certain state laws should be borne by the people who commit these crimes, and not by the entire organization to which the offenders may be related. He said this in a comment to the media.
“There is a state structure that appears here that will [check the implementation of the law]… I see this as insufficiently transparent mechanisms that allow for a subjective approach. And without these legislative changes, there are enough tools to stop the activities of those who cooperate with the aggressor,” — Mazurashu said.
Mazurashu added that he had been in contact with one of the White House advisers in the summer of 2024. According to the MP, the official in the US administration opposed the persecution of the UOC, and instead recommended that individual “Kremlin agents” be prosecuted and punished in court.
