We recall that on September 2, 2025, in the Rivne region, TRC employees forcibly mobilized the hierarch of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Bishop Seraphim (Kadubyansky) of Novovorontsov. Along with the bishop, his assistant, Hieromonk Gabriel (Kinaschuk), was also detained.
Clergyman of the Chernivtsi Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church subjected to forced mobilization

On September 11, 2025, in the Chernivtsi region, employees of the territorial recruitment center (TRC) subjected a clergyman of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to forced mobilization. The detainee was Archpriest Mykola Gryga, a cleric of the Chernivtsi Diocese of the UOC. This was reported by believers of the Chernivtsi-Bukovina Diocese on their Facebook page.
It is reported that this is the rector of the parish of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in honor of the Holy Prophet Elijah in the village of Valyava, Kitsman Deanery, Archpriest Mykola Gryga. The priest was detained and taken to one of the regional TRC points.
