Crimea confiscated Oleksandr Usik's property because of his adherence to "Nazi ideology"

Crimea, which is not controlled by Ukraine, has announced the confiscation of the property of Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk on the territory of the peninsula. The grounds for such a decision were accusations of «adherence to Nazi ideology, condemnation of the special military operation (SMO) and organization of fundraisers in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU)».

According to the CTR Center portal, the head of Crimea’s parliament, which is not recognized by the international community, Volodymyr Konstantinov, said that Usik was included in the list of 84 individuals and legal entities whose property had been subjected to «nationalization». These individuals, according to Konstantinov, cooperate with the Ukrainian government and provide support to the AFU.

Konstantinov emphasized the position regarding the boxer: «Oleksandr Usik is a supporter of Nazi ideology. He has repeatedly condemned the SWO and organized fundraisers for the needs of the AFU».

We will remind, earlier we reported that the world boxing champion Alexander Usik took part in the campaign to raise funds for the restoration of the museum of UPA commander-in-chief Roman Shukhevych in Lviv, damaged as a result of shelling in January 2024. The athlete made a personal donation and provided his boxing gloves for the charity auction.
